Tours - It is always best to ask a resident and we take pride in offering any type of tour you may want, if you do not see it on our list ask us first before pursuing another avenue. We have fun, exciting and responsible tour companies that will pick you up at your vacation home and after the tour they will bring you home. Tips: Come prepared for adventure

Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes that can get wet while riding.
Bring or wear a bathing suit, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a towel.
Don’t forget your camera or binoculars, but be advised that they might get wet.
Be prepared to get wet and ride at a leisurely pace for about 2 hours, so if you do not have long pants please bring a towel to sit on the saddle.

We offer your choice of a morning sail into the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve or a sunset sail. This includes snorkeling equipment, a tour of the offshore islands and a delicious meal.
	Dolphins play in the wake as we sail silently through the blue pacific waters. The rushing of wind and waves are frequently interrupted by the splash of dolphins and whales coming near for a closer look.

We stop for a leisurely swim at one of the white sand beaches and dive on the underwater reefs of the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve.

Upon arrival in Puntarenas you will board super catamaran Manta Raya. has fresh water showers and full bar featuring delicious Piña Coladas made with fresh pineapple. Once underway the Manta Raya makes her way to the Gulf of Nicoya.

Life moves at a relaxed pace in Costa Rica. We have a variety of different dive sites and most locations are limited to one boat. You will never experience the feeling that there are more divers than fish!

If you like adventure and want to experience something different then Manuel Antonio is the place for you. The warm waters, the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly people will give you an experience that you will never forget!

Visibility: There is a high nutrient content in the water, this brings us an unbelievable amount of marine life. Though the visibility does vary it is normally in the region of 20-50 feet.
Water Temperature: There is very little variation throughout the year. Temperatures range from mid 80's to low 70's. For exposure protection we would recommend either a 2 or 3mm wetsuit.
Water Movement: We do experience some currents and surge. Dive sites are selected daily for the best conditions.
Average Dive Depths: 40 - 80 ft

Our ecologically and educationally focused hiking experience is geared towards a mix of adventure, education, nature and ecology. Excellent for individuals, families, children, or even large groups, people of all ages will enjoy this adventure because of its variety, options and bio-diversity.

Hike through partly shaded paths carved directly out of the primary Costa Rican tropical jungle as you explore with your bilingual guides and naturalists. Explore the exotic plant and wildlife of the mountainous jungle so close to Manuel Antonio National Park, yet along the mono titi (the endangered squirrel monkey) biological corridor it is a more private, personalized, and relaxing experience. Peacefully enjoy a cold one on the ground as you watch your fellow guests zip line by line to different canopy platforms – for yes, our Ecological Canopy Tour is zipping above your head as you enjoy a more peaceful adventure on the ground. Take a leisurely stroll or active hike through our secluded, protected habitat, which is an excellent location for you to discover the bio-diversity and delicate balance between preservation and eco-tourism.

You might want to bring a camera, bug spray, a hat, and your binoculars for hiking, and wear either good hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes.

Pacific Ocean Offshore Fishing Trips

Costa Rica and it’s offshore fishing grounds are world famous for the numerous records (fly and conventional tackle) that have been set and the large numbers of fish it can produce during the peak seasons. Sailfish are the name of the game here and are available year around with December through April being the prime season. 30 to 40 fish days are common during those peak warmer months when numerous Sails can be seen free-jumping and resting on the surface.

 

Blue, Black and Stripped Marlin are common in the local waters but are more seasonally caught on their North- South migration routes. March and April and November and December see more Marlin than other months but they have been caught every month of the year.

Dolphinfish (Dorado or Mahi Mahi) thrive in these waters but are usually unseen from June to September. Wahoo are a strictly seasonal fish that occupies these waters during the warmer months from December to April.

 

Rates for a full day of offshore fishing range from $450 to $1200 based on the number of anglers and the size of the boat desired.
